Some people think that foreign visitors should be charged more than locals when they visit cultural and tourist attractions in a country. To what extent do you agree with this view?
Over the past few decades, people’s interest in exploring new areas and countries around the globe has become an increasing trend. The significant advancements in the field of transportation enabled mankind to cross the universe easily. Some people claim that tourists must pay more money than natives when visiting tourists and cultural places. In
this
essay, I will opine the reasons why I completely disagree with this
idea.
There is no doubt that equality in treatment inculcates a belonging spirit in the country
. This
similarity in hospitality regardless of the nationality, race and religion, show how well civilized this
specific country
is. Furthermore
, tourists that feel they are a part of the native society in the foreign country
are motivated to repeat the visiting experience several times. This
was evidenced in a recent research conducted by the “Ministry of Tourism
”. It ensures that countries such
as Turkey, Greece and Cyprus experience multi visits from tourists.
Moreover
, charging foreigners more than locals will lead to a decline in the tourism
industry. Families keen to spend memorable and exciting holidays in unique yet cheap and affordable tourism
attractions. Such
areas will attract more visitors, and therefore
boost the tourism
sector. As a consequence, this
will contribute to a rise in the economic growth of the country
. To illustrate, tourism
in Egypt influx money that represents 55% of the total economy. This
is due to the cheap services and fee entrances to rare places.
In conclusion, it is un-negotiable that countries should not charge foreign visitors extra fee. However I
believe that a warm, welcoming, accompanied by non-nationality prejudice will enhance the economic growth of countries.Accept comma addition
