discuss on how the
gender
character correlates with the
subject
itself.
Gender
equality in learning does not mean it should give an equal number of male and female on a particular
subject
. But, it means to provide the equal freedom, both for male and female to access learning equally on
this
subject
.
For instance
, in class, man and woman have some opportunities to speak up their ideas and solution, ask questions, get feedback on her/his performance, get assisting in his/her own learning objective, regardless of their
gender
. Look deeper on the subjects is correlated with the strength and weakness or natural character of female and male. Based on research, male are more like to do things related to building things.
However female
Accept comma addition
However, female
students are likely to do things related to nurturing.
For example
, in my collage male students dominated the machine engineering study and female students dominated the health care study. In conclusion, allowing an equal number of men and women in every
subject
by universities will bring limited impacts to learning process of each
gender
. It is because equal opportunity in learning not defined by numbers, but by equal access of opportunity based on their natural
gender
characteristic.
