Differences between countries become less evident each year. Nowadays all over the world, people share the same fashions, advertising, brands, eating habits, TV channels. Do the advantages of this trend outweigh the disadvantages?

Globalization has accomplished that people from all around the globe follow similar fashion and rock bands, watch the same shows on TV, buy the same products and even have the same food to eat.
This
has clearly more benefits to society than dr

Suggestion
the drawbacks
nd in
this
essay, I will explain why. The improvements in communication technologies have increased mainly cultural and language interchange between countries.
For instance
, people living in Buenos Aires can learn to speak English online with an Indian teacher, sharing not only language
advice
but
also
cultural knowledge and food recipes. The
second
advantage is that following the same fashions and trends increases socialization attitudes among others. Teenagers, these days,
for example
, use the TIKTOK app on their phones and share dances with friends from overseas countries which they had previously met online. Another advantage is that governments share policies,
advice
and decision making enhancing others’ experience on the same topics. To illustrate, health
advice
has been given and taken regarding CoViD19 all over the world these
last
few months improving the outcome of the disease in many countries.
On the other hand
, there are some disadvantages of globalization,
such
as the loss of traditional customs which have begun to melt with foreign ones and will later disappear. Namely, in Christmas, Santa Claus, which has been introduced by the American, has erased the belief in Christ and his birth has gone to
second
place when speaking about
this
holiday. Another negative point is that bad eating habits arrive everywhere and become really fashionable. Junk food chains,
for instance
, have become very trendy, worsening noticeably the diet of children and grownups. In conclusion, whereas there are some drawbacks of sharing with other countries’ cultures
such
as the loss of traditional customs and a fall in good eating habits, I think the advantages of culture, language, new relationships and political
advice
, immensely outweigh the disadvantages.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
