Nowadays a few people take their family with them abroad whenever they go on a business trip. Is it a positive or negative development in your opinion? To what extent do you support this development?

Using every chance to spend more time with their dear ones is generally everybody’s goal, yet these days not many people prefer having family members accompanying them on a work trip. I strongly feel the downsides of
this
trend far outnumber the advantages, and that many families could benefit from travelling together on all occasions namely parents with small children.
This
essay will discuss both sides using examples from the Norwegian government and the
Business
Insider to demonstrate points and prove arguments. On the one
hand
, there is ample evidence supporting the view that it might be a good idea if people who travel abroad for work bring their spouse and children with them. The reason behind
this
is twofold,
firstly they
Accept comma addition
firstly, they
could provide their family with the great opportunity of experiencing new languages and cultures.
Secondly
,
then
business
travellers would not have to battle with the feeling that they are missing out on their children growing up and so to enjoy themselves while away for job purposes. In fact, a survey conducted by the
Business
Insider showed that 90% of the most successful man of enterprise stated that keeping their family close by at all times was the crucial part of developing a prosperous career.
Therefore
, it is conclusively clear that it could be mutually beneficial for close members of a family to stay together even when travelling for official reasons.
On the other
hand
, negatives of being accompanied by family members at the time of temporary work overseas cannot be overstated.
This
is largely because the basic purpose of the trip can be disrupted if a person, from who results made is expected of, has its mind occupied with the thoughts of its family.
For example
, recent empirical research by the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry demonstrated that 70% of professionals who bring their family for working trip cannot focus on their tasks while thinking of their family well-being. Consistent with
this
line of thinking is that attending to family matters during working journeys could have adverse effects on assignment progress.
Consequently
, it is possible to state beyond doubt that working people should leave out their relatives from
business
travels with the aim of maximizing task achievement. To conclude, from the arguments and examples given I firmly believe that
although
family presence and productivity sometimes do not go
hand
in
hand
while travelling for
business
, if balanced purposefully it could be life improving both for the
business
people and their family.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
