To promote further economic growth, governments are likely to fund scientific research and education, leading to the maturity of society and making their countries more competitive, while the main disadvantages are environmental problems, global warming, and pollution because of further deforestation and industrial waste.

In today’s world, the differences between countries seem to be getting smaller. People all over the world are wearing the same clothes, watching the same TV channels, and enjoying the same movies. While some may see this as a positive development, I believe it has both positive and negative aspects.

As the prices for university fees grew and the job market became even more competitive than it had been earlier, some people believe that theoretical subjects, such as art history for example, should be excluded from universities in order to study more practical subjects and get skills which will increase the chances of getting a well-paid job. Although I believe that we still need to provide an opportunity for studying social and historical studies, I totally agree that the number of practical courses should be increased.
