increasing number of students are choosing to study abroad. to what extent does this trend benefit the students themselves and the countries involved? what are the drawbacks?

Over the past few years, it is seen that the number of students choosing to study abroad has accelerated.
Although
, the desire of obtaining a qualification from overseas has its pros and cons, but I personally believe that it is a great chance for an individual's mental and personal growth. The positive aspects of
this
increasing trend encircles; the opportunity of acquiring a
second
language at a social and professional level.
As a result
this
would improve their contacts and employment prospects.
Furthermore
, it ensures that students become independent, self confident and self-reliant.
Moreover
, it is a great way for them to gain incredible experiences
such
as learning other communities by being friends with diversified group of people. Apart from the students, the involved countries are as well benefitted from
this
trend.
For example
: countries receiving students from around the world, become multicultural and their economy are fuelled by the tuition and accommodation fee paid by the foreign students.
However
situation could be stressful, presenting a number of drawbacks too. One major downside is the "brain-drain", that directly severely attacks the sender country.
Additionally
, cultural shock, homesickness and part time job to pay the expenses along with the course mentally and physically exhausts the student are the factors that have negative impacts. At the end, I would say that the key is to enjoy the pros and face the cons.
