Some people say that online study is more effective than traditional learning. Do advantages outweigh its disadvantages?

According to some, online lessons via internet is far more efficacious than the traditional way of learning new things.
Although
,
this
new style is considered
time
-saving, it seems to me that, it is more
time
consuming, due to some distractions.
Thus
, I opine the latter fact about them comes
over
Suggestion
after
another. From a positive side, distance learning requires less amount of
time
when juxtaposed with conventional method.
This
is because, teacher in
such
system tend to teach individually, which saves
time
Suggestion
the time
of both instructors and students.
Moreover
, rather than spend
time
for commuting to education facilities, learning at home with distant lessons save a huge amounts of
time
.
However
, I believe that its advantages may be left under the shade of its disadvantages. In my viewpoint, when learning with the help of the internet, there would be far more distractions in the form of messages and notifications, which come when the people are online. By attempting to check ones` e-mails, instant messengers during distant learning, cause to fritter away the
time
and, in turn, affect to the efficiency of it because of losing the focus, I guess.
For example
, University of Virginia drifted away using the very practice to teach their students while they are absent at lessons. According to the research of
this
university, the vast majority of the very students wasted their
time
during online lessons by losing the concentration. To conclude, even though distant learning has its advantage of saving the
time
, their drawback which lies under
this
factor clearly outweighs the former, I think. From my view, it is highly likely to be distracted from what things are people learning during online lessons by various factors, like messengers.
