Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

It is said that accepting a bad situation is the best way to deal with it, according to some, whereas, others argue that trying to improve awkward conditions is a better approach. I would say that the best way to handle bad situations is trying to enhance it. People who advocate the idea that accepting an awkward position is the premier approach to face it, have a couple of reasons.
Firstly
, while they believe that changing usually costs a lot in terms of money and time, the changes would not worth to spend money and time.
For example
, while my brother as a college student, always needs a laptop,
instead
of paying for a laptop, he tends to use my laptop which would not be always available.
Secondly
, there is no certainty in the result of the efforts to improve and change the unsatisfactory positions.
For instance
, in terms of trying to change a low salary job to a well-paid one, employees not only could be
unsuccessful
Suggestion
unsuccessfully
to find an appropriate job, but
also
they would lose their current business.
Therefore
, by considering the risks and costs of trying to enhance the unsatisfactory conditions, admitting the circumstances would not be a wise decision.
However
, I would argue that the best method to deal with bad situations is trying to improve them. Lack of attempt of making unsatisfactory situations better will make them become worse. So it is vital to try to handle the problems by making efforts to change or improve them. Someone who resent not adequate income would be a good example, they should seek to have more salary by working part time jobs or changing their main profession
otherwise
they may be vulnerable facing unexpected financial problems
such
as a price increase.
Furthermore
, being devastated by a bad position with no try to enhance it for a long run, could cause major mental disorders
such
as depression. So, they should make efforts to overcome difficulties and cheer themselves up.
As a result
, it is necessary not to accept the bad conditions and try to improve them. In conclusion, clearly accepting problems without any effort to better bad situations is not a wise decision to face them,
however
, it is crucial to try to enhance
such
situations.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
