Many university students do part-time work while studying at university. Is this a positive or negative development?

Nowadays students are forced to have a profession in their free time throughout their educational courses in order to compensate expenses which they should deal with them. Since, even though they use scholarships for a portion of those expenses, it is hard to survive just with
this
 little source of money. In my point of view, if the career is not related to the major that they are studying, it can be really harmful for them due to spending less stage on their studying.
Firstly
, if we want to look at positive perspectives of working during education, as it was mentioned above, if the career is related to their courses and help them to use their knowledge, it can have remarkable effects which could be a giant supplement.
For example
, if somebody is studying Metallurgy, it would be beneficial for them to be an experienced engineer when they finish the university. And
also
, the salary can make a convenient life during educational period, or a good save for rainy days.
On the other hand
, it can have an unwilling disadvantage. Since it has been a common decision to pupils to work in some occupation that are far different from their fields in universities just because when they sum the price of accommodation, tuition, and other expenses they find it impossible to afford. So mostly they try to work as servants, accountants, cashier, or and so on, which is not only far from their goals, but
also
 waste their precious time that should be allotted to studying. In conclusion, tutors should afford the expenses of education in one way or another. So, mainly they decide not to get a loan because of its interests, and try to find a part-time job. It can be a good dealt if the job and university course be related.
In contrast
, it can be an absolute waste of time if they look at the job as a survivor.
