These people interfere with the stable functioning of society. Criminals are placed in one environment so that they realize that they have made a mistake and must start a new life. Prison is the place where a person’s correction takes place. Where does a person repent. Some convicts corrected learn a new craft begin to believe in God. Well, it is a chance to build a new life. And most importantly, prisoners can communicate with family and friends.
This
 means that they did not lose social ties even after serving their sentences. To sum up, I think that purpose of prison is not only penalty, it is a rectification, crime prevention, keep necessary social networking and so on.
