1. In recent years, pressure on school and university students has been increasing and they are pushed to work very hard from a young age. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

Nowadays, there is a certain standard to be met by students, which compels them to study and work even harder,
hence
putting
pressure
on them. In my opinion,
this
can be a positive development. Students work hard at a young age because they have a goal to achieve, be it to attain a scholarship, go to famous schools to earn more knowledge, or to attain something that seems impossible.
This
is all because it is known that if you work hard, your
future
a male parent (also used as a term of address to your father)
father
would be most definitely prosperous. Working hard is akin to working for that bright future that you could only dream of. 
Likewise
, many students have an increased drive, no matter the
pressure
.
However
, as there are positive sides to
this
argument, there can
also
be a negative side. Students tend to overwork themselves, and end up burning out from excessive studying with no rest. Some students cannot cope with the stress, and end up in depression, isolating themselves from family and friends.
This
can cause stump their growth, pulling them back from what they want to achieve. These effects can be dangerous and detrimental to their mental health. In conclusion,
pressure
on studies has a positive effect, but only if the students themselves know how to properly handle the stress that goes along with the
pressure
.
This
can propel them to greater heights, but it can
also
tear them down if not properly balanced.
