In some societies the number of crimes committed by teenagers is growing. Some people think that regardless of age, teenagers who commit major crimes should receive adult punishment. To what extent do you agree?

In some countries, there is a growing tendency of juvenile delinquency, and some individuals perceive that irrespective of age, everyone should be treated as same.
Although
receiving the adult punishments may bring down the number of crimes committed by the teenagers, it is not wise to compare the punishments made by an adult with teenagers as they are not
matured
Suggestion
mature
enough to understand their crime. Fear of punishment will certainly bring down crimes committed by younger people. Having a common punishment will instill fear in the minds of teenagers. They will think that if mistakes are made, certainly they might have to face the consequences.
As a result
, they will not get involved in cruel acts which eventually lead to a decrease in the number of crimes committed. In Saudi Arabia, all individuals are treated in the same way in front of the law, so no one could receive special treatment. But does that mean that all the crimes should be treated in the same way? Teenagers are immature; they may not realize the fact that they have made a crime, so we cannot treat them under the same trail as that of adults. By doing so, the Justice is being denied to innocent teenagers.
Therefore
, they should be treated separately.
For example
, in India, teenagers are sent to rehabilitation camps so that they get adequate

and support from the government and that they could realize their mistakes, start a new life rather than undergoing years of imprisonment for mistakes that are committed without realizing it. In conclusion, by treating both adults and teenagers crimes as same we could minimize the unlawful acts to a certain extent, but due to their immaturity, it is important to consider their future life and treat the youngsters separately.
