Many people believe that every individual is responsible for his/her own healthy lifestyle. Others believe that government should take care of it. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

It is said that having a healthy
life
is the people’s responsibility;
however
, others believe that providing a healthy
way
of living is
governments
Suggestion
government's
government
obligation. While I accept that the role of people in
this
issue is undeniable, would argue that the contribution of the state is much more crucial. On the one hand, adopting a healthy
way
of
life
is a personal decision. No one can force us to have a healthier
life
but ourselves. The main approach to have a healthy lifestyle is regulating some rules and trying to be stick to them. Avoiding junk food and fast food and setting regular time to exercise are good examples of
this
.
Furthermore
, streets are filled by advertisements
such
as “smoking kills” which try to encourage people to have a healthier
way
of living. But there is no noticeable decrease in population of smokers.
As a result
, while external help like advertisements is not useful, having healthy living is one’s duty.
However
, providing a healthy
way
of
life
is the government’s duty, due to the fact that it has all the power of a country and it has been authorized to legislate laws. Increasing the number of public sport facilities is a productive approach to encourage people to exercise more.
This
action requires a considerable amount of credit which could only be provided by the state.
Additionally
, nowadays, television is full of unhealthy advertisements
such
as
CheeToz
long-legged spotted cat of Africa and southwestern Asia having nonretractile claws; the swiftest mammal; can be trained to run down game
cheetahs
. In order to decrease the willingness of citizens to ear saturated fat-based foods government could withdraw
such
companies’ right of advertising.
Therefore
, since the government is accounted for the all most of money and authority in countries, it is its commitment to spread healthy lifestyle amongst people. In conclusion, owing to the capabilities of the state, it is responsible for people’s lifestyle, while the duty of one is unforgettable.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
