International travel makes people prejudiced rather than broad minded. What are its causes and what measures can be taken to solve this problem?

Nowadays, international movement has flourished to an extent, which had made the world a global village. With
this
phenomenon, people have become prejudiced
instead
of broadening their horizon.
This
essay will discuss some of the reasons associated with the mindset of people while travelling across countries and would
also
suggest some solutions to circumvent the same.
To begin
with, travel has become easier than never before. As compared to the past, people move widely either for business purpose or for leisure. Undoubtedly, tourism sector contributes to the major part of revenue for the vast majority of countries.
However
, people fly without prior knowledge regarding the culture of the host
country
. Definitely,
this
would lead to narrowing people’s thoughts, as they feel annoyed by the act of the people of the host
country
.
For instance
, in my state most of the religious places have the mandatory custom to leave the foot wares outside, while there are possibilities that people from other countries may feel strange about the practice.
Furthermore
, affluent people would transit abroad, without knowing about the host
country
.
This
would often lead to biases and misconceptions.
Hence
, prior knowledge regarding the
country
that we visit adds more value to our purpose of visit. Does
this
mean that there are no solutions to these problems? Definitely not. Alternatively, people must learn mandatory at the time of visa application about the experiences that would improve the awareness about different countries.
In addition
, seminars and various campaigns can be conducted by the tour guides and operators which would impart knowledge to the visitors.
Moreover
, if people are exposed to the tradition and civilization of the
country

this
would enhance to broaden their attitude towards the society and
also
would help in building up rapport with the people. To conclude,
although
flying abroad has made the people narrow minded,
this
can be overcome by taking appropriate steps by themselves learning the culture and people involved in
