My motivation in participating in the CrossCulture Program activities is to increase relations, especially with NGO networks abroad, enrich my mindset by understanding cultures in Germany, and improve my ability to process information related to the environment. Telephone or letter was the only way to communicate with people back at home in the past. However, these days people are using mobil devices to connect with other people anywhere and anytime. This of course have more advantages than disadvantages because mobile devices offer conveniences and offered better ways to communicate rather than old methods.

It is true that we are in a digital age. Some people say that because of the internet all people can communicate with one another easily around the world. I totally agree with this statement because we can contact anyone live in a minute if both parties have internet connection. This digital era helps to attach everyone globally. We can see people use smart devices more often than earlier, even young kids also use their own devices to connect with others. Therefore, communication becomes easier than before.
