Access to computers has increased significantly over recent decades, and the number of people playing games or watching visual materials on computers has increased as well. While
video
games, mostly have a bad reputation for causing negative effects on the mental and physical health of the people playing them, spending
time
online playing or watching videos has its advantages
such
as improve mood and reduce anxiety,
in addition
to develop the ability to problem solving and logic. In believe that expanding using new technology for entertainment or business is a beneficial gate to the future. The majority of people nowadays are staying at home because of the Corona virus pandemic, which means a large amount of
time
to be spent in a social distance, and that create a tremendous
time
that needed to be occupied. Based on the current situations, films and computer games have an extremely positive physiological effect on individuals.
For example
, Dr. Mohamed Taha, who is a famous shrinks was recently talking about how entertainment affect positively on mood, as well, there are many research papers which prove that electronic games train the brain to think of creative ways to solve the puzzles and other problem in a short
time
. Despite, the merits of attending films and playing computer games, it has demerits
such
as aggression.
Increase
Suggestion
An increase
in the level of aggression is one of the most detrimental effects of playing a
video
game. Research shows that exposure to violent
video
increases aggressive behaviour in children. It can push the children to violence and lower pro-social behaviour. In conclusion, the both aspects of playing
video
games and watching movies have been shown. It can be a useful or harmful according how people use it. I’m of the belief of that community should increase the
time
of watching and playing games, but under control of their mental health advisors.
