The amount of garbage that people produce is increasing at an astonishing rate. I believe it is due the fast-paced lifestyle.
However
, government can set regulations to
limit
the disposal of rubbish. People are getting busier than ever in today's society. They have more responsibilities
such
as paying bills, taking care of parents and children.
As a result
, they tend to choose services which would save them time and make life easier for them.
For example
, online shopping websites are more popular than traditional brick and mortar stores among many demographic populations, because websites
such
as Amazon saves valuable time for their consumers and they can do it at the comfort of their own homes.
Also
, individuals prefer takeout food from the restaurant than cooking at home.
This
is due to the fact that it saves people the hustle of gathering food supplies and prepare meals on their own. These behaviours are definitely time saving.
However
, they produce more garbage
such
as the card box packaging and plastic wraps from Amazon, plastic food containers from takeout restaurant. Regulations can be set by governments to
limit
rubbish disposition. There can be different numbers depending on the sizes of the companies.
On the other hand
, to
further
encourage the reduction of trash, regulations can be set that gives the corporations which produce under a certain level of trash a tax break, whereas gives the firms which produce more than the allocated
limit
a fine.
Although
individuals and corporations are producing an increasing amount of garbage due to the fast-paced lifestyle, governments can create laws to
limit
the disposition of waste.
