People tend to watch foreign movies more than local movies these days. Why is this happening? Should government financially support local movies?

There is no doubt that people of today are inclined to watch international films rather than their locally produced ones.
This
essay will discuss the main reason behind
this
phenomenon and show why governments should invest in the local
film
industry. The main reason behind people’s attraction to foreign movies is that these movies have enormous production budgets. These budgets can allow the flick makers to produce a high quality
film which
Accept comma addition
film, which
in turn gravitates more people.
In other words
, a
film
director can use exceptional visual effects that people like when he or she has a huge production budget.
For example
, one of the most popular movies in the world is The Avengers, which was produced by Marvel, cost nearly 250 million dollars. Some movie analysts say that 100 million dollars of
this
gigantic budget were allocated for visual and sound effects which provoked movie lovers to watch the
film
. Personally, I believe that governments should support financially their local
film
industry.
This
would lead to a tremendous improvement in movies quality which in turn could attract international viewers to watch locally produced films. If a local movie director concentrated on the bright side of his country in his films, foreign viewers would be curious to visit the country which can benefit his country economically.
For instance
, a study conducted by Stanford University has shown that 41% of the tourists who entered the USA in 2009 are provoked originals from Holywood movies to visit the homes. To conclude, the colossal budgets of foreign movies are the prime reason why people tend to watch
such
films continuously. I firmly believe that governments should support financially their local
film
industry in order to be benefited economically.
