Popular events like the football World Cup and other international sporting occasions are essential in easing international tensions and releasing patriotic emotions in a safe way. Do you agree or disagree?

It is believed that people from each country had always been looking for some ways to response their patriotic emotions.
Thus
, over separated eras, various ways have been taken to prove these feelings.
However
, today, international events
such
as the Olympic Games and World Cup play a crucial role in maintaining the peace of the world and showing patriotic feelings. I completely agree with
this
opinion because some following reasons. On the one hand, it is true that popular sport events act as a catalyst for lessening international tensions and keeping up the world peace in a secure
way
. One argument is that during the international events, athletes from various countries are competing against each other in a

way
.
Although
their countries might be at war or conflict, they shake hands and greet each other. Another justification is that global tournaments could pave the
way
for being aware of the culture, tradition and religion of other nations.
As a result
, when people understand and accept differences about cultures, politics and societies, they could sympathize more deeply with each other, that results in nations easing tensions and raising international cooperation.
On the other hand
, no one can ignore that has no patriotic emotions or nationalism. Perhaps there is something in human nature which has encouraged them to show the culture, images and reputation of their country to others. And the best
way
to prove the patriotic feelings is to give their best effort in the games, since they are soldiers and the representative of their own countries.
In other words
, by protecting and encouraging their national sport teams to win in the match, both athletes and

response to their nationalistic emotions. In conclusion, I strongly believe that international sport and game events not only is an effective tool in relieving tensions among countries, but these events
also
stimulate patriotic feeling in the right
way
