Giving charities to local organizations is thought to be better by some whereas others prefer donating to international charities. Since local communities address the local problems directly and are comparatively more needy than global organizations, I think offering direct help to the

On the other hand
, local communities solve problems that are specific to a neighbourhood, These problems are often small and overlooked by large organizations. Since the community leaders know the area better, it is obvious they are more keen to solve the problems, And due to these problems being indigenous, people from other communities will not contribute as much. So, they need more of our help.
Although
global problems might of grave importance and require immediate fund and attention, local communities solve problems directly. And due to the fact their funds are smaller, I think it is more necessary to give charities to neighbourhood organizations.
