A lot of people who wanted to become professional athletes gave up this idea because of the fear of failure and parents' pressure. Do you think that parents should support their children who want to do a career in sports?

Making a decision about whether to become a professional athlete or not probably challenges many people due to the lack of their parents’ supports. In my own perspective, I think parents should support their children with a career in sports.
Firstly
, encouragement from parents plays an important role in maintaining the passion of people who want to have their own jobs related to sports. Athletic professions can bring someone to the top of their career path but perhaps a minor injury by mistake can ruin their entire lives.
As a result
, parental assistance is one of the major contributions to their success and has a significant impact on their choices whether from starting or retaining their works.
For example
, Roger Federer became so famous in tennis thanks to his family support.
In addition
, problems related to mental and physical are

athletes, particularly
need their parents or their close family members to encourage them and become their moral force.
Moreover
, for most people, their success stems from the help and encouragement of their loved ones and

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 250 words in writing task 2. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long essay will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 260 to 290 words in writing task 2. This will ensure a concise essay and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 40 minutes to write the essay and you need around 10 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long essay in 30 minutes.
