modern-day, advertisements are appearing in every corner of our life. Some people argue that commercials might bring worthless purposes or even detrimental to communities;
therefore
, we should ban all forms of advertisement. I partly agree that authorities should not completely refuse all types of advertising. On the one hand, there are some reasons to believe that rulers should force advertisements' disappearance.
First
, large commercials contain sensitive content or harmful products displayed on television, easily seen by children.
For example
, fast-food is not suitable for children's bodies, but it still shows widely in billboards.
Moreover
, it is undeniable that companies could pay more attention to their products without spending cash on promoting products on marketing campaigns.
As a result
, businesses could bring to society high-quality goods at affordable prices.
On the other hand
, I partly agree with those who claim that advertising
also
contributing information and value to the community.
First
of all, the advertising industry creates many job opportunities for employees. To be more specific, there are many stages to make a TV commercial video,
such
as making a video, produce, or makeup. So that if authorities banned all forms of advertising, there would be an increase in the jobless rate.
Furthermore
, banning advertising would make buyers challenging to meet their needs, and companies hardly reach potential customers.
Thus it
Accept comma addition
Thus, it
would affect not only the business income, but
also
the quality of people's life. In conclusion, for the reasons mentioned above, I would argue that altogether banning all forms of advertising could not improve others' life.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
