Buying things on the Internet, such as books, air tickets and groceries, is becoming more and more popular. Do the advantages of shopping in this way outweigh the disadvantages?

Most people prefer to buy things online and believe
this
is the most convenient option;
therefore
, online shopping is getting popular
day
by
day
. It depends on what someone wants to
purchase
like for the
food
items;
one
has to go out because it's hard to access the
food
freshness without holding in hands, but like an air ticket and books are the content base purchases which can be ordered online. Shopping is the primary necessity of life. An individual needs a million items for their
day
to
day
living like
food
, clothing, utensils, and toiletries;
thus
, it's a non- ending list. There are few things like grocery where
one
has to go out and shop as per
one
's requirement like the taste, availability of an item, and the pocket of a purchaser, and for that matter, it's mandatory to go out and
purchase
.
However
, many things can buy based on its content and,
therefore
, not require holding in hand before purchasing it like a book. The irony is that we need
food
to live
instead
of needing a book to live;
therefore
, I believe online shopping has more disadvantages because it's not possible to assess the freshness of
food
and material of cloth on the Internet. The method of online payment is blind. In general, air tickets are expensive, and
one
needs a hefty amount of money when attempting to pay online.
This
large amount of online transactions can put
one
's banking details on the web portal, and the chances of misuse have increased many folds.
Therefore
, I believe it's worth using a little money on gas to travel to the travel agency to buy the ticket on your own rather than
purchase
online with the peace of mind.
Also
,
one
can track their transaction record accurately, timely, and can monitor any fraudulent activity.
Hence I
Accept comma addition
Hence, I
believe a person cannot fly every
day
; it's usually once in a blue moon and not a regular necessity of life;
therefore
, it's better to
purchase
air tickets from travel agents, not online. Ultimately, I believe online shopping is not worthwhile because internet
purchase
is an intangible and unreliable option.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
