Over the past couple of years, because of the rapid changes in eating habits and lifestyle, many people have been suffering from increased weight issues. There are many reasons which lead to overweight in individuals, and it can affect their lives negatively. I will discuss in detail the causes and the impact of obesity in the subsequent paragraphs.

, the advent of technology has made our lives sedentary. In

modern era everyone is busy at work and has no time have proper healthy meals. During their short lunch breaks they prefer to have packaged foods from convenience stores which saves their time, but

can be detrimental to health due to the various chemicals added in these ready made meals it can cause weight gain in the future.

, because of their tedious work schedules they always rely on motor vehicles, even for short distances and they lack any physical activity. These days people even during leisure do not engage in any outdoor activities

To recapitulate, obesity is a rising issue in our technology driven society, and due to irregular eating habits and drastic changes in our lifestyle, it has negatively affected our health causing various diseases.
