Farmers within a country are often protected by tariffs - that is, special taxes on imported food. Such policies are necessary, and should be implemented wherever possible. To what extent do you agree with this?

For decades, there have been tariffs that protect every farmer in a
country
from massive buying of imported
food
. To my mind, I strongly agree that these policies should be implemented in every region around the globe based on several reasons.
To begin
with, the strongest reason for
this
is preventing farmers in a
country
for losing their job. Since the tariffs for imported
food
are high, people prefer to buy and consume some local products than imported products. To illustrate it, even though the oranges from South Korea are better than oranges from Indonesia, a majority of Indonesian prefers to buy the local oranges since the price is cheaper than the imported product.
As a result
, farmers can sell more local products and still support their families. Another stronger reason is
this
policy can prevent the domination of
food
stock
caught or fixed
stuck
in every
country
.
In other words
, if there were no taxes for imported
food
, the price of
food
from developing countries would be lower than in developed countries. As a consequence, people might buy more livestock, fruits, and vegetables from the cheapest
country
than buying their local products.
As a result
, there would be several dominant countries that dominate the markets.
However
, there might be a catastrophe if a global famine happened. It is because the dominants might stop export their products as a strategy to protect their
citizen
Suggestion
citizens
from disaster.
Therefore
, there would be more countries that suffer from famine. In conclusion, I absolutely agree with the given statement. In my opinion, it is one of the best ways to prevent the extinction of agricultural jobs and the domination of livestock around the world.
