Some of the methods in advertising are unethical and unacceptable in today’s society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

At the present time, the world is dominated by
advertisement
. We see adverts on the television, World Wide Web, in the streets and even on our mobile phone.
However
, many of the strategies used to sell
product
Suggestion
a product
or service can be considered as unacceptable. I support
this
statement to a major extent. My preference towards the same is discussed in the ensuing paragraphs.
To begin
with, the fact is that we cannot escape from advertising is significant cause for complaint. Constant images and signs whenever we look can be very irritating. To exemplify, nowadays adverts on the mobile phone, the company can send the message to the consumer phone whenever they choose. It is very irritating for the individuals.
Moreover
,
advertisement
encourages the people to purchase that
product
, they may not need and it can costly. The children and the young people
in particular
are influenced by adverts showing the latest toys, clothes or electronic items. It can put the pressure on their parents to but that
product
.
Furthermore
, advertising of tobacco products and alcohol has been a big issue. But, in some countries the cigarette has been banned recently.
Therefore
, it is quite possible that alcohol adverts can encourage people for consumption and underage drinking. Yet, the restriction cannot be made on these products.
However
, advertising has some merits, too. Individual aware about the new
product
and it is
also
beneficial for the company. Because of the adverts, the sale of the company has been increasing dramatically. AS the
advertisement
encourages individuals to buy the products. To recapitulate, it is evident that advertising is the everyday features of our lives.
Therefore
, people can constantly be encouraged to buy the items that might be too expensive, unnecessary or even unhealthy.
Thus
, many of the aspects of
advertisement
appear to be wrong and not acceptable in society.
