In the past , most people lived in small villages where everyone knew everyone else. Nowadays, most people live in large cities where they only know a few people in their area What do you think were the advantages and disadvantages of living in a small community

Most people have a tendency to leave for modern cities to get better living conditions, so experience at present is different from one in the past. It was claimed that there were benefits and drawbacks of living in small villages. In my point of view, there were three chief advantages.

Secondly
, the atmosphere was clean and fresh due to no traffic congestion and the absence of large factories. So they would feel comfortable, especially the elderly.
Finally
, it comes as no surprise that they were less stressed since

On the other hand
, disadvantages
also
existed.
Firstly
, the income was low because most parents were either farmers or workers.

The last but not least
, the technology was so unpopular and strange that there was so little access to updated information and knowledge about of everything all over the world. To sum up, in my opinion, the benefits of living a small community outweighed the drawbacks. Life here was safe and peaceful.
In addition

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
  • namely
  • to illustrate
  • take, for example
