Many old buildings protected by law are part of a nation’s history. some people think they should be knocked down and replaced by new ones. How important is it to maintain old buildings? Should history stand in the way of progress?

Many ancient buildings preserved by authorities are part of a community’s history, while, according to some they ought to be demolished and substitute new ones. I believe that they should be maintained because they are not a hurdle in the path to economic growth. It is argued that preserving old buildings are vitally important on the grounds that if authorities do not examine these buildings and demolished them, the maintenance cost of old buildings will be doubled. Simply put, maintaining the old buildings reduce the manufacturing cost, because of inflation, these days, the cost of reconstruction is being increased and it is not permanent,
therefore
people cannot trust the new prices. In fact, the tax of rebuilding is far more than repairing and maintaining old buildings.
As a result
, it is essentially important to be concerned about old buildings. The backbone and symbol of the country is history, the nation has consistently been ongoing and it is widely acknowledged that old buildings are obstacles to the progress of the country,
however
, tourism is one of the booming industries and historical buildings are one of the most visited places in the world.
Hence
, many governments are promoting these historical places to attract tourists from foreign countries. By promoting monuments, authorities can increase the influx of tourists and
thus
earn valuable foreign exchange.
Nonetheless
, making progress of the buildings are highly likely disappeared the culture of the countries and even the number of tourism decreased significantly. In conclusion, there are cogent arguments which discussed above,
however I
Accept comma addition
however, I
firmly believe that buildings need to be protected as they represent our heritage and revenue for the state and even it is an indispensable part of the country.
