Universities should accept equal number of male and female students in every subject. To what extent do you agree or disagree.

Acquiring higher education is the basic right of every man and woman in a society. There is a decisive debate that universities should offer an equal
number
of admissions to both male and female students. In below lines we shall examine
this
argument and at the end I shall share my own opinion. It is acknowledged that accepting an equal
number
of females in every subject of tertiary level studies will give encouragement and the empowerment to women. As more fields of higher education will be available,
this
will eventually support them to contribute more in the development of the country.
Furthermore
,
this
practice will help to reduce gender discrimination and through interactions between students of both sexes communication gap will be eliminated.
On the other hand
,

this
practice persists, many talented male students will be surely deprived of the admissions in the universities. Important to note that there are some gender-based subjects like nursing, home décor in which same
number
of male participation will deter a large
number
of women candidates.
Similarly

Hence
it looks a fanciful idea to

both genders equally in every subject of university level education. In conclusion, admissions in universities should be strictly based on merit and grades not on genders.
Therefore
, I fully oppose the
