Every country should have a free health service, even if this means that the latest medical treatments may not be available through the service because they are too expensive. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is argued that medical facilities should be free in all the nations, even the latest equipments are too costly to afford. I completely disagree with the aforementioned statement and in my opinion,
health services
should charge individuals based on their income so that the advanced facilities can be made available to everyone.
Suggestion
the health services
Although
hospitals and clinics may not have required advanced medical facilities, many countries offer free health
services to their citizens. Those medical facilities are often supported by public unions, NGOs, or government fundings. In Canada, for instance
, every citizen is provided with a free health
card by which any health
-related concerns are being treated without any charge in the government hospitals. However
, the government should charge some fees according to a person's annual income to better support the health
industry.
It is seen that the nations providing free health
services lack advanced medical equipment. This
is because of not enough grants available for the medical sector and even the medical equipment are highly expensive. However
, it could be improved by charging a certain amount of fees to the patients based on their income source. Wealthy people can afford any medical expenses, while a middle-class person may not get proper treatment because of financial problems. Therefore
, it will certainly help the hospitals if they start collecting some funds from the people who can afford it so that, any latest equipment can be purchased and patients can be cured in a better way.
In conclusion, the idea of providing free medical treatments to everyone looks ridiculous. Instead
, in my opinion, the charges should be based on a person's financial status and therefore
, any expensive facility could be built to better take care of the patients.Submitted by Himanshu Chaudhari on
