University should accept equal number of male and female students in every subject. To what extent do you agree and disagree?

University education has many advantages in our life for being successful. In my opinion, it is unfair to select candidates as per
gender
based. I totally disagree with
this
aforementioned statement, I would like to explicate it at length in the paragraphs to come.
Firstly
, the selection of the scholars need to be based on the interest of the individuals. They are not required to be selected on their
gender
otherwise
universities will not be able to fulfil all the seats of a particular course.
In addition
to
this
, interested students cannot get the seats for their subject of interest. For an example, females are more interested to take admission in the Nursing studies.
Thus
, keeping a same number in class for both
gender
Suggestion
genders
will reduce the chance of female to get into the course.
Secondly
, qualification of the both genders cannot be neglected. Both men and women are needed to be selected with their merits.
Therefore
, male and female will have the equal opportunity, according to their ability.
Consequently
, it will be helpful for the betterment of the nation. To cite an example, it is not fair to select a man for a subject with having a lower grade than a woman to fulfil the class on equal
gender
based.
Thus
, many good students will lack behind to take opportunities. To conclude, according to me, the selection for the university education need to be only based on qualification and interest of the candidates not per the equal
gender
otherwise
many educated student will loss the chance of getting higher study.
