Government should spend money on railways rather than roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Nowadays, governments are showing interest in investing and developing roadways and railways.
However
, there is still confusion on whether governments should fund development for railway or road transport. I believe that, it would be a decision to choose railways as it would solve many problems caused by road transportation.

, trains are already preferred by a lot of people, but by developing the infrastructure and system much more people would be able to use the railways. On top of that it would

 help in resolving the issue with

, it is widely known that a massive increase in the number of vehicles is causing difficulties like
