Recently, abortion increases rapidly and becomes a controversial topic. Some people suppose that abortion should be legal while others are against it. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

The cases of
abortion
are increasing all over the world, making
this
one of the most controversial and debatable topics. While many, including myself, would argue that
abortion
must be legalized, others are against it.
This
essay will discuss both views and explain why I believe
abortion
should be legal. Those who are against the legalization of the
abortion
argue that even in the early stages of
pregnancy there
Accept comma addition
pregnancy, there
is already life formed, and for
this
reason the
abortion
would mean the killing of a human being. Studies have shown that the fetus begins to develop from the
first
week of
pregnancy
.
Thus
, to those supporters,
abortion
would mean the destruction of an existing form of life.
However
, others, including myself, believe the
abortion
should be legal giving women the ability to choose. Sometimes the
pregnancy
is a result of rape and sometimes the woman is in an abusive relationship. In either case, if a woman feels that she does not want the baby, she should have the freedom to terminate it. Over the years, there has
also
been an increase in the number of women who do not want babies. In my opinion, only those women who are able to raise their babies in a healthy and loving environment should give birth. Bringing a baby into
this
world knowing full well that you cannot give it a healthy and happy childhood is a bigger crime than killing it in the womb. For these reasons,
abortion
should be legal all over the world. In conclusion,
abortion
remains a highly controversial topic with arguments both in favour of and against it. In my opinion, women should have the right to terminate a
pregnancy
if they do not want it
