As well as making money, businesses also have social responsibilities. Do you agree or disagree?

People have different views about whether companies have social obligations or not. While I accept that these businesses should seek to generate profits, I believe that they should share social responsibilities. On the one hand, I accept
this
view because creating profits can help these companies to survive in a competitive world. Obviously, enterprises have to spend a large amount of money on costs involved in running a business
such
as salaries, real- estate costs and maintenance.
Therefore
, a company needs money to cover its running costs so that it can function properly and remain successful.
This
means that if businesses are in good financial health, they are more likely to focus on maximizing customer satisfactions, especially difficult clients and address various problem they encounter,
for example
facing potential collapse or competing multicultural groups.
On the other hand
, I still believe that apart from chasing

This
is because being socially responsible is a great way to boost a company’s reputation and image. Ensure,

if these corporations allocate a proportion of their finance to charitable donations or environmental protection, the information about these businesses would be disseminated to more and more customers.
This
can help them to accelerate their sales figures and increase profits. In conclusion, while the top priority of any company is making profits, I believe that they should shoulder social responsibilities.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
