Children nowadays watch significantly more television than in the past, which reduces their activity levels accordingly. Why is this the case? What measures can you suggest to encourage higher levels of activity among children?

Television
is an essential source of information for everyone. It is said by some individuals that these days children watch more
television
as compared to ancient term and they do not like playing, exercising. In my perspective, technology has entirely changed the living way of the people, there are numerous ways to promote a higher level of activity among children.
To begin
with, these days people live in singular families, and they work for long hours in order to fulfil their basic needs ,
this
is the reason that they provide more entertainment facilities
such
as mobile phones,TV set and laptops to their children in order to make them busy.In the ancient era, children were involved in household activities and playing because they live with their uncle, aunt, grandfather and grandmother.
For instance
,a survey was conducted in the year of 2018,its conclusion was that seventy per cent children like to watch
television
rather than playing games because they spend their time lonely, they are becoming addicts of
television
series.
However
, every problem comes with a solution.Parents should motivate their children to join dance clubs and football clubs so that they can involve themselves in some activities.Parents should
also
play games during weekends in order to motivate their children to play

ifferent kind of games. To illustrate, children should be encouraged by their teachers to participate in games.Various competitions should be organised by schools and local communities in which the participation of both parents and children should be promoted. To recapitulate,I would like to write that joint effort should be made by parents, teachers for the involvement of children in diverse activities
such
as running, playing, dancing. They should be allowed to watch
television
,but there should be a limit of time.
