Should private schools receive government funding? Give reasons for your answer, and include any relevant examples from your knowledge or experience.

In recent years, an upsurging debate has arisen, whether the private schools should be supported by
government
funding. To me, the
government
should provide most of its funding to the public schools rather than to the private schools.
This
essay will provide the reasons why I support
this
view. Private school should not receive any money from the
government
. It can be invested more effectively in public

. A lot of students have to give up their studies since there is not enough funding from the

sector. If private schools start receiving funding from the
government
, there might be a budget reduction in the number of free study programs.
Therefore
, students who do not have economic stability are left without opportunities to fulfil their life projects. While public schools need
government
funding to survive, private schools are economically independent. Usually, the fees that students pay for their enrollment in private schools are expensive. These schools do not need
government
funding as they earn big revenues from their students. To me, the funds should only be directed to the public sector.
This
will create more opportunities for poor people.
For example
, in Colombia, rich people can choose where they want to study.
By contrast
, poor people do not have

Then
, if there are not enough funds for public schools, they might not be able to keep studying and receive

government
should not consider financing private school.
This
money can be used where is really needed. There is a lot of public school in need of more
