The development of tourism contributed to english becoming the most prominent language in the world. Some think that this will lead to english becoming only spoken language globally.  What are the advantages and disadvantages to having one language in the world.

Increase in tourism has resulted in English becoming
one
of the most important languages in the world.
Therefore
, many believe that as a consequence, English will be the only globally spoken
language
.
Although
this
will ease communication and lead to economic growth, there are
also
drawbacks to be taken into account. On the
one
hand, there are a number of benefits of having
one
common
language
in the world.
Firstly
, it will make communication easy, which will result in an increase in global participation.
In other words
, not only nations but
also
people will be able to express themselves easily without being misunderstood.
Secondly
, a common
language
will ensure economic growth, as it will reduce every barrier and bring various countries together.
For instance
,

anguage barrier.
On the other hand
,
one
problem that common
language
brings is the loss of identity of various cultures, because
language
is a significant part of any society and any change in it will lead to loss of individual culture. Another possible issue will be a fall in tourism. To illustrate, people travel to India in n order to experience its rich
language
and culture, so if there is a common global
language
then
people will be less attracted to visit India.
Furthermore
, it will majorly affect the countries whose economy is dependent on tourism. In conclusion, while
one
language
can lead to an increase in communication between nations, it can
also
result in a loss of cultural diversity.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
