In some countries, a few people earn extremely high salaries. Some people think that is good for country, while other believe that government should control salaries and limit the amount people can earn. Discuss both views and give your opinion

Around the world, it can be seen a few people that detain a large property whereas the majority of the population earn less than they need to live. Might the government interfere ane regulate wages? There has been a hot debate about that matter over the centuries. Some people who defend capitalism believe that the economy can regulate itself. It means that authorities have no reason to create systems to limit how much capital an individual can earn — even if it is way more than hundreds of citizens in the same country. That belief is based on meritocracy. From that point of view, everyone is equally able to achieve success and be prosperous provides that they work hard. At the opposite side, are those who prefer socialism and argue that the government must have a strong presence in the economy in order to provide almost the same amount of money to each person and

also

the same entitlements. They understand that it can only be done by regulating people fund, setting a limit to it and sharing the goods of the nation among the citizens. In my opinion, there should be a balance between both arguments: everybody may be free to earn money honestly, but the government must ensure that all the population has the same opportunities in life. All individuals have the right to live in a place where is possible to study in a great school, to have enough food, to get a pleasant job, to earn a good salary and to live well.
