New Technologies change the way children spend their free time. Do the advantages of these changes outweigh the disadvantages?

Modernization in Technology takes numerous transformations to our lifestyles, especially in entertaining methods. Compared to the past, the leisure time of young generations is generally occupied by electronic devices in recent decades,
such
as tablets, computers and mobiles. In my opinion,
this
phenomenon brings more harmfulness than benefits in two ways.
First
of all, in terms of social intercourses, children who are addicted to electronic devices are normally lack of social communication experiences.
This
is mainly because these youngers stay indoor and hardly spend time on

ace-to-face conversation with friends or neighbours, which leads to fewer opportunities to learn team works spirit and communication skills from daily life.
Thus
, it is more likely to grow up as a selfish and dissocial adult who might have a higher potential to conduct anti-social behaviours.
Moreover
, in terms of finances, new technologies are not some economically affordable products which are overwhelming for plenty of households.
For instance
, the newly-released iPhone cost more than ten thousand Chinese Yuan while substantial Chinese parents may only earn less than five thousand Yuan monthly. It is undeniable that the latest products contain better features and performance, but
this
is over the budget for normal families. In a result, once the children are educated about the necessity to own a new electronic device, the price of it will cause heavy financial pressure to average-income parents. But it is not saying that there is no merit for new techniques.
For example
, advanced devices could assist children to combine learning with entertainment,
such
as some online sudoku games and online chess games.
However
,
this
benefit can
also
be replaced by physical games and provide the same advantages for children. In conclusion, even though the new technologies may have some advantages, there is no comparison to the drawbacks on children’s social disorders and families’ financial pressure.
