Advantage or disadvantage of using the electronic device in the classroom

Electronic devices like laptop, mobile phones, iPad are used almost everywhere and every occasion. Even though there are some ill-effects
such
as damaging eyes and causing a headache for some people, it is inevitable. I feel that there are many advantages in using them in the classroom
such
as learning correctly and clearing doubts faster. On one hand, electric devices could look like the main source of distraction for students.
However
, students used to get distracted even before the electronic devices era.
For example
, in our class, we used to look at the school’s playground during class hours. It is common in all ages. Like students browsing on social media nowadays, students during our age were reading magazines keeping it inside the book or playing some other games silently during the class hours. As like any students, current school-goers are
also
getting distracted but in a different way.
On the other hand
, electronic devices are clearly a boon.
For instance
, consider a chemical reaction, 3-dimensional picturisation in the electronic device can make any student understand how the bonding between two atoms happens. There is room for misunderstanding or imagining it wrongly.
Similarly
, many new online coaching startup companies have proved that visual depiction of any subject will reach the minds of kids soon. It is evident from their growth that teaching via electronic devices is giving better results. To settle my arguments, I want to reiterate that electronic devices have more benefits than disadvantages. It helps kids to learn faster and thoroughly.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
