Some people say that advertising is extremely successful at persuading us to buy things. Other people think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

The discussion about whether or not advertising can lead us to purchase their products in today’s complex society raises a thorny question.
Although
many people can manage their attitudes on advertising, I tend to believe that the tacts used by advertisement companies are very successful at encouraging us to purchase their products. There are several reasons why some people are in the opinion that the advertisements are not as powerful as before to catch their consideration.
First
and foremost, it can be argued that being aware of the purposes of advertising could possibly affect customer’s minds in order to pay attention to the product. It would appear that people who purchased advertised products with a big expectation might not be glad after using them several times.
Consequently
,
this
leads to lost costumer’s trust in these and they prefer to be loyal with products they use before.
For example
, if

one. If the quality of the product is not good they prefer to stay on the previous one.
As a result
, costumers lose their trust on advertised products. Despite the argument above, I tend to believe that advertising companies run successful manners to catch the attention of their costumers.
Initially
granted, it could be asserted that companies need to tell customers about their products. Those companies are always in competition with their opponent.
Therefore
they try to include psychological things to attract customers mind.
For example
, the colour of the banner, the size of the font, or
first
seconds of the videos are very important for them to catch the attention from the
first
view. All of these tacts are really successful to affect customers’ brain psychologically to purchase their products. In conclusion, while there are some reasons to believe that advertising products are not effective as before because people are already aware of the advertisements, my own view is that there are things that advertising companies have been using which we can not control ourselves to keep away from them.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
