, the population of humans especially in developing countries is skyrocketing every year due to which requirements of dwellings is

increasing. So trees are being cut to construct more houses and cities for the people to live in .
Also
due to the urbanisation lot of roads, bridges are being built to connect the various parts of the country to each other , so to build the sound infrastructure jungles are being cleared out .
Thirdly
, a huge
number
of the trees in the forests are being cleared to grow the crops to satisfy the food needs of the people . The cutting of the trees every year is a pressing issue and causes a

of ill effects. As forests serve as homes for many faunas, clearing them leads to the loss of habitat of many wild animals. When animals could not find any place to live, it can result in an increase in a
number
of endangered and extinct wildlife species . While The trees purify the air quality by absorbing the various poisonous gases like carbon-dioxide, Nitrogen oxide , without trees carbon content will increase exponentially which may lead to the multiple environmental problems like global warming, soil erosion. Excessive deforestation can

result in a decrease in water table which can ultimately lead to the loss of the lakes , ponds and rivers .
