Q. you recently stayed with a childhood friend for a few days. Write a letter to this friend. In your letter: Thank your friend for letting you stay with them. refer to something enjoyable that you did while staying with him/her invite your friend to visit you

Dear friend, Hope you are doing well and in a pink of health. Say hello to your big brother. I want to heartily thank you for allowing me to stay at your place and enjoy the moments. The time spent with you was really amazing and memorable. I loved the binge-watching of the series on Netflix we used to have after dinner. The tasty food you made for me was awestruck. Is the nearby construction work completed now? I missed the daily visit to the park with you. Please allow me the pleasure to invite you over my place and let’s explore my home as well as my nearby area. I will take you to the market for shopping and visit a famous church here nearby. Please do let me know whenever you are available for the visit so that I can make the arrangements. Feel free to bring your big brother as well. We will have fun together. Best Regards, Anshdeep Singh

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
