A few individuals believe that
news
Use synonyms
channels and newspaper focus their
news
Use synonyms
on famous
people
Use synonyms
due to which
people
Use synonyms
often waste their
time
Use synonyms
on these platforms. I disagree with
this
Linking Words
notion and reasons to strengthen my viewpoint are put forth in subsequent paragraphs. On the one hand, it is believed by a few
people
Use synonyms
that mass
media
Use synonyms
is primarily focused on celebrities and politicians lifestyle.
This
Linking Words
is primarily due to the fact that TRP gets increase by broadcasting
news
Use synonyms
related to
such
Linking Words
people
Use synonyms
.
However
Linking Words
, I disagree with
this
Linking Words
belief that
such
Linking Words
types of
news
Use synonyms
occupy a large share of broadcasting and printing content. In fact, It is due to the attention-seeking capability of
such
Linking Words
news
Use synonyms
that they seem to cover most of the
time
Use synonyms
.
For example
Linking Words
, according to the Census board of India,
news
Use synonyms
channel spends 5-8 % of the
time
Use synonyms
on telecasting stories related to important personalities.
This
Linking Words
is very less percentage of whole
time
Use synonyms
and
therefore
Linking Words
, it is defying their logic that
people
Use synonyms
waste their
time
Use synonyms
on mass
media
Use synonyms
.
On the other hand
Linking Words
, I believe watching TV
news
Use synonyms
channels and reading newspaper are imperative for general masses because of several reasons.
First
Linking Words
and foremost, reporters and journalists report
news
Use synonyms
which can make the public aware of their fundamental rights. It is generally seen that debates and discussion on TV
news
Use synonyms
tend to inform the merits and demerits of policies and laws implemented by governing authorities, thereby making viewers aware of them. To cite an example,
people
Use synonyms
often become aware of various tax exemptions through TV and newspapers because official documents with different jargons are quite difficult for general
people
Use synonyms
to understand.
Thus
Linking Words
newsrooms are assisting
people
Use synonyms
for getting their rights.
In addition
Linking Words
, it is with the help of the press that
people
Use synonyms
get information about unprecedented events which can adversely affect their life.
For example
Linking Words
, a recent pandemic of Corona Virus has created apprehensions among
people
Use synonyms
around the world. In
this
Linking Words
case, the
media
Use synonyms
played a vital role in making
people
Use synonyms
alert about the effects of disease and possible prevention measures. Apart from
this
Linking Words
, the
media
Use synonyms
also
Linking Words
helped
people
Use synonyms
in making aware of different rumours related to the virus.
Thus
Linking Words
, it can be concluded that
media
Use synonyms
is conducive for normal citizens of a nation. To encapsulate, even though print and digital
media
Use synonyms
get some monetary benefit by printing and telecasting about celebrities, still I assert that users of these platforms should continue to watch and read so that they can become aware of government policies and other
news
Use synonyms
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
