When international media (including movies, fashion shows, advertisements and other TV programmes) convey the same messages to the global audience, people argue that the expansion of international media has negative impacts on cultural diversity. What is your opinion?

It is widely acknowledged that, with the advent of media,
people
seem to be more connected to each other. Some
people
opine that the popularity of International media are rising and have deleterious effects on cultural diversity. I completely disagree with
this
argument. I will elaborate on my views in detail in the upcoming paragraphs.
Firstly
,
such
media would provide platforms for
people
to express themselves. To elaborate,
people
around the world are far more interested to know about many unknown communities.
Hence
,
such
TV
programmes
even if it is movies or shows could provide detailed information about the customs, tradition of many unknown communities more genuinely.
For example
, National Geographic Channel includes a programme that familiarizes the aboriginals of Australia, Africa and Asia. It is
otherwise
impossible to know about those distinct cultures.
Besides
that,
such
platforms provide employment opportunities for many
people
. Considering the rise in rating as well as inadequate staff number, the concerned authorities would hire new employees. Having analyzed the above details the importance of
such
borderless channels could be stressed.
In addition
,
such
programmes
help
people
to know about the language, culture, and climate of many far-away places. Thereby, helping the individuals to cope with
such
regions if they get trapped or isolated there.
For instance
,
people
who are familiar with the hostile conditions of Antarctica through TV shows would be prepared thoroughly before visiting there. Not only the climate and culture but
also
the language could be learned through these shows. It would of course provide an upper-hand for
people
to mingle with foreign
people
easily. Henceforth, the above details could reiterate the value of
such
programmes
. In the nutshell, I would like to stress the fact that, rather than disrupting cultural diversity,
such
programmes
would provide benefits for
people
in numerous ways. I hope, every nation would realise their positives before increasing restrictions over it.
