You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work. Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In your letter describe the situation explain your problems and why it is difficult to work say what kind of accommodation you would prefer

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing
this
letter to apprise you that I am facing many hurdles in my studies while sharing the accommodation with another student. I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in your college and staying in building 21 and room number 101. The major problem with
this
arrangement is that my roommate has a habit of playing the guitar. He is a guitarist and works part-time in a cafe so he practices every day for a couple of hours.
Secondly
, my fellow-mate is very unhygienic. He never trashes his residual and likes to stay untidy. I missed my project deadlines as I was not able to focus because of the loud music.
Moreover
, I suffered from Malaria disease twice because of the mosquitoes around the garbage under his bed. I would request you to please allow me to shift to a private room. Though that room is smaller in size it has a private washroom.
Moreover
, those rooms have noise cancellation main doors which will allow me to concentrate better. I am waiting for your positive response. Yours sincerely, Prateek Gupta.

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
