Some people say we invest an enormous amount of fund to protect ancient buildings, while some others believe it is worthless to spend on old structures,
therefore
 we should demolish and erect skyscrapers to replace those. As both arguments have their own pros and cons, I do not completely agree or disagree with none of these statements. Ancient architectures are the standing evidence of our heritage; those reflect the history of our ancestors’ life. We have understood so many aspects of human life
such
 as engineering, architecture and painting through those primitive constructions and monuments. Taj Mahal is one of the classic examples. We have admired the elegant beauty and architectural fantasy of
this
 building.
In addition
, it serves not alone as a heritage site but
also
 as a spot for tourist attraction.  Interestingly, keeping an antique building without decaying is a costly exercise. It demands a substantial sum of finances for conservation. Sometimes those are a burden to governments, especially when those constructions are not

Instead
 of keeping them, dismantling those historically non-significant buildings will be beneficial to both the public and the government. We could erect new vertical skyscrapers for hospitals or schools or shopping malls with modern facilities in the same place, which will be more profitable and innovative.  concept, where they have erected many modern vertical living amenities at the location of non-symbolic old buildings.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.
