We cannot help everyone in the world that needs help, so we should only be concerned with our own communities and countries. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Humans are living beings who show empathy towards other creatures. While there is a crowd that believes taking care of the community and country they belong to is like taking care of the world , I completely disagree with the belief and call them selfish. The below essay will show my statements of disagreement and support my stand. In reality, it is impossible to help everyone who is suffering. But, lending hands to folks who are in dire need of help always has a way of coming back. There are persons who take an extra step to go above and beyond to provide their support to someone who is in crisis.
Such
people
are always rewarded.
For example
, Mother Teresa and Mahatma Gandhi are
such
personalities who are still being an inspiration to the crowd. They travelled around the world and set an identity by supporting the black and the diseased
people
. There are numerous
people
who are following in their footsteps and are still offering help to the sick and needy through the internet and social media.
People
who think only about themselves and the environment they live in are not likely to have a big heart. Life on another planet would have not been possible if scientists had confined their thoughts to their motherland. Technological advancement would have not happened if
people
studied, graduated and worked in their own country. Any of
this
happened because
people
had helped each other to grow even in the smallest ways. I will conclude with
this
famous saying, "When you think about yourself, only you grow, but when you include others in your thoughts you help the world grow". We should start being selfless and support one another to reach heights in life.
