Many large supermarkets are being built today while the number of small shops is decreasing. Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages

Cities are transforming in various aspects, one of them is the shopping pattern. Many small vendors have already been compelled to close their doors
as a result
of the supermarket expansion.
Besides
,
supermarkets
have benefited local and national economies in a multitude of ways which I believe are a beneficial influence. Clearly,
supermarkets
promote economic growth. They employ lots of people and job creation certainly helps the local economy. Since
supermarkets
attract a large number of consumers, the area surrounding them
also
tends to develop owing to increased consumer activity.
This

.
Supermarkets
have made shopping more convenient and less stressful. When a client can get everything they need from a single
store
, they save time and money. They allow customers to choose from a large range of items that are always available, properly

, fresh, and competitively priced.
This
is
in contrast
to small shops, which are undoubtedly smaller and so cannot stock as many items. They no longer have to go from
store
to
store
searching for that tin of fresh salmon or bottle of milk. It is because of
this
ease that
supermarkets
are so popular with customers.
On the other hand
,
supermarkets
have made small businesses redundant. Many of them have gone out of business because they can't compete with a large
store
that offers almost everything under one roof. Money spent at a supermarket barely makes its way back into the community in the form of subsistence salaries for staff, while the vast majority of earnings go to faraway corporate executives and stockholders. So,
although
supermarkets
create work for some, they
also
cause the loss of employment for others. To conclude,
supermarkets
have both advantages and disadvantages . They are generally beneficial to society, but small business owners bear the brunt of their popularity.
Nonetheless
,

than bad effects on society, in my opinion.
