People can perform everyday tasks, such as shopping and banking as well as business transactions, without meeting other people face-to-face. What are the effects of this on individuals and society as a whole?
With the development of science and technology, many daily life events,
such
as shopping, banking and even company meetings, can be completed by a computer or even a mobile phone. Face-to-face communication is no longer necessary, and lifestyle changes are having an impact on individuals and the whole society
. In this
essay, I would like to try to explain my thoughts about this
.
This
change does bring some benefits. For individuals, it saves us a lot of time that we used to spend on transportation and queuing. For example
, order online, all kinds of goods will be delivered at home. We don't need to take time off to go to the bank to queue up for business during working hours, we can handle work remotely at home, and we don't need to rush to the company in the morning. For society
, this
change has created new employment opportunities that are not difficult to get started, such
as those related to the logistics industry. The business of multinational companies can be carried out more smoothly, and global shopping websites can provide a platform for selling products instead
of opening special stores as before.
Of course, such
changes will also
make some negative effects. For example
, for individuals, because they no longer need to go out every day, people stay at home for a long time, which leads to a lack of physical exercise and daily life communication, thus
becoming unfamiliar with friends and out of touch with society
, which may seriously lead to some mental diseases. For society
, this
change is also
eliminating some jobs. Such
as shopping malls no longer require a large number of shopping guides and banks no longer need a large number of window receptionists. People in these industries have to find another job.
In conclusion, the emergence of new things will definitely have both positive and negative impacts. While enjoying the positive impacts brought by new things, we should also
face the negative impacts and constantly improve ourselves to adapt to social changes.Submitted by fanganqi79 on
